Ashwin leads Blueocean Market Intelligence and Cross-Tab Marketing Services.

Ashwin invested into Cross-Tab when it was a start-up and subsequently joined the company’s Board and Management Team. Ashwin has led and architected the growth of Blueocean Market Intelligence since its inception into the analytics and insights powerhouse it is today. His vision is to have Blueocean Market Intelligence drive the culture of decision making based on analytics and market intelligence in today’s increasingly flat world.

Ashwin has prior experience in strategy consulting and in the corporate world in India and in the US. He has received several awards for individual and corporate excellence from leading global authorities and has spoken at global industry forums on driving business impact through analytics. Besides work, Ashwin is involved in various CSR activities relating to children’s education and angel investing to promote entrepreneurial ideas.

Ashwin has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Commerce, is a Chartered Accountant, and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Anderson School at UCLA and London Business School.

Ajith has over 16 years of experience in market research and business consulting, and leads Blueocean’s Market Intelligence Business Unit with a team of 210 market researchers and analysts. Previously, he was the Head of Software and Services Research at IDC India, and a Senior Consultant with Deloitte. Ajith has Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Marketing. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), a certification awarded by the Institute of Management Consultants, India, a member institute of International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI).

Durjoy has over 17 years of experience in various areas of business services and a deep understanding of outsourcing. His experience includes IT services, KPO and Analytics services, BPO and back-office services for global brands and regional leaders. He has been involved in setting up, establishing and growing service operations across multiple cities, in offshore locations (India, Philippines), managing various business functions. His experience also includes a successful entrepreneurial stint and merger and acquisition activities. In the past, he has been instrumental in growing Capital One's outsourcing footprint in Asia, and was responsible for managing the Analytics practice in India for RedPill. Before joining Blueocean Market Intelligence, he was the European Sales leader for Analytics services at IBM. He has an engineering degree from the Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi and a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management.

Anees leads the Digital practice and brings over 18 years of experience to Blueocean Market Intelligence. He has worked with numerous global Fortune 500 clients across various industries, including Retail, Travel and Hospitality, Telecommunications and Technology, Media and eCommerce.

Prior to joining Blueocean Market Intelligence, Anees was in an executive role at eClerx Services Ltd. for nine years, where he was instrumental in setting up a team of 600+ people across functions in digital analytics, marketing automation, social media marketing, visualization and analytics. He has also played a significant role in developing core functions such as knowledge management, quality practices, operations excellence and presales throughout his career.

Apart from strong digital domain and operations background, Anees is also trained on Lean Six Sigma with sound understanding of applying quality tools in day-to-day delivery. He has a MBA from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai.

Suchitra has over 15 years of experience and brings solid business acumen and consulting expertise to Blueocean Market Intelligence that she gained during her previous assignments at Infosys, NuWare, neoIT and most recently Manthan Services. She has a strong background in the life sciences and co-founded StrataPRO Analytics and Consulting, a consulting firm engaged in providing strategy driven decision support to the pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Suchitra has a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University.

Shamez currently leads the Client Services and Account Management teams at Blueocean Market Intelligence. Having started his career as a marketer, Shamez is able to leverage over 18 years of marketing, advertising, and consulting experience to serve and advise Fortune 500 organizations in the areas of marketing strategy, digital and interactive marketing, social media strategy, and Big Data analytics. He has held various marketing leadership positions at large organizations, including The Aga Khan Development Network, eClerx, Intercontinental Hotels Group, and Leo Burnett. In addition, Shamez has held leadership roles with several Marketing Strategy, Relationship Marketing and Big Data services and SaaS organizations which have had successful exits. Shamez holds a Master's degree in Experimental Psychology (Consumer Behavior) from DePaul University and a MBA from The University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.

Kumar led the growth of Blueocean Market Intelligence and Cross-Tab Marketing Services as the Group CEO for over a decade, prior to taking up the advisory position of Chief Evangelist.

Prior to joining Blueocean Market Intelligence, Kumar worked with Microsoft for over 13 years in a variety of leadership roles in Market Research, Competitive Intelligence, Corporate Alliances, Business Management, Strategy and Finance. As one of the earliest market researchers within the software industry, he has helped shape how research is conducted within the technology marketplace. He was one of the first individuals in the world to study the impact of the Internet on consumers and businesses and collaborated on some of the largest groundbreaking research studies on the evolution of the Internet. Over his career, Kumar has directed over a quarter billion dollars of market intelligence, and research. He is passionate about the role market intelligence and analytics can play in shaping businesses and has spoken frequently about market research transformation at a number of events.

Kumar has a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Socioeconomics from the University of Iowa and is based in Seattle.

Russell S. Winer has written three books, Marketing Management, Analysis for Marketing Planning and Product Management, and a research monograph, Pricing, and has authored more than 70 papers in marketing on a variety of topics including consumer choice, marketing research methodology, marketing planning, advertising, and pricing. He has served two terms as the editor of the Journal of Marketing Research, he is the past co-editor of Journal of Interactive Marketing and is currently an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Research in Marketing.
